FS-3 Racing to run two-man team for 2017 British Superbike season

After a successful 2016 season, the FS-3 Racing team will retain Billy McConnell for the 2017 season, who will be competing on the all-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR machinery.

In addition to Billy McConnell, who finished 15th in the British Superbike Championship this year, James Rispoli will be lining up on the National Superstock 1000 grid aboard a Ninja ZX-10RR. The Californian rider is the first rider to be announced as having direct support from Kawasaki Motors UK as a Team Green Associated Rider.
As well as this exciting rider line-up, Quattro Plant have been secured as the team's title sponsor so they will be named 'Quattro Plant Kawasaki' for the 2017 season.
Team Manager, Nigel Snook, said: “We learned a lot during our first year in the MCE Superbike championship and plan to put that experience to good use next season. I'm delighted that the team has attracted backing from Quattro Plant who are great supporters of the series. Billy is looking forward to a winter of hard training in preparation for riding our new Superbike and building on the progress he made with us this year.

“James knows that next year's Superstock championship is going to be really competitive, particularly with increased manufacturer interest, but we're confident he'll be running at the front. Towards the end of the season, we hope to be able to enter James as a wildcard on a second superbike.”

James Rispoli said: “I'm excited for next year and can't wait to get on the Ninja ZX-10RR. I'm super happy to be a Team Green Associated rider and represent the brand in the Superstock 1000 class.”

Ross Burridge, Kawasaki Motors UK Senior Racing Coordinator, said: “We are excited to be able to work more closely with the FS-3 racing team next year. They are a professional outfit and I'm confident that they can help progress Billy towards the front of the Superbike grid. In addition, having James on board as a Team Green Associated Rider is fantastic news, the Superstock class is very important to us, so we are hoping he will be pushing for the Championship win.”
