Clayton Unstoppable in Birmingham!

Round Three of the Arenacross Tour took place this past weekend at the Genting Arena, next to Birmingham's NEC. Always one of the riders favourite rounds, an arena packed to the rafters with excited fans awaited Team Green Holeshot Kawasaki and the rest of the field on an immaculately prepared, technical track.

Joe Clayton carried on his fine form throughout the series so far with another emphatic double win. With two Pro Lites races's in the evening schedule, the crowd were treated to a display of dominance for the Devon based rider. Now having won 5 out of 6 races, Clayton has a big lead in the Championship, proving just how well he has adapted to the bike and how good the KX250F is around these tight, technical tracks.

In the Supermini class, Raife Broadley has been familiarising himself with the podium over the past couple of rounds and Birmingham was no different! With a Third and a Second in his two races, Broadley took Second overall and moved himself to within 10 points of the Championship leader. With Four rounds still to go, all is to play for!

For the team Green lads, it was a night to forget in the Pro class, however Shocktech Kawasaki rider, Hugo Basaula had other ideas. After his podium finish the previous week, Basaula backed it up with a Fourth place finish this weekend. Consistency is key in this Championship, so hopefully he can continue his strides towards the top end of the title chase!

The team now move to Belfast this weekend for rounds 4 and 5 at the Odyssey Arena.
