Team Green on top at MX Nationals season opener!

After a long wait for the season to commence was finally over this weekend the opening round of the MX Nationals took place at a sun drenched Hawkstone Park circuit in Shropshire.

Team Green riders Cullen Scott and Ryan Mawhinney were in fine form during qualifying taking 2nd and 3rd positions setting themselves up for a full attack on the MXY2 class on their KX250's. Mawhinney suffered missed fortunes for the rest of the day after winning the opening moto, suffered a heavy crash later in the day that resulted in a broken collar bone. Tough luck for the Northern Irish rider, but he will rest up and be back as soon as possible.

It was left to Scott to represent Team Green, and that he did!! Crushing the competition with an impressive scorecard that saw him take race wins and ultimately the overall win on the day!! He now moves to round two holding the coveted red plate and full of confidence.
