Double Podium Delight for AJN Steelstock Kawasaki at Thruxton

It was a weekend to remember for the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki team at Round 6 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, as both Max Cook and Christian Iddon secured their first podium finishes of the season under sunny skies and warm conditions at Thruxton.

The high-speed Hampshire circuit set the stage for some of the closest racing of the season so far, and the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki squad rose to the occasion. Max Cook delivered a thrilling performance, overcoming several dramatic moments on track to claim a hard-fought podium aboard the blisteringly quick Ninja ZX-10RR.

Teammate Christian Iddon also impressed, securing his own spot on the podium and underlining the team's steady rise in form. The Ninja ZX-10RR proved one of the fastest machines through the speed traps all weekend, finally showcasing the potential that the team and riders have been working towards all season.

Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki UK, praised the team's efforts: “Wow, what a weekend. I couldn't be happier for everyone involved. The AJN Steelstock Kawasaki team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this kind of result possible, and it's fantastic to see that effort rewarded with not just one, but two podium finishes. Max and Christian both rode incredibly well, pushing hard and showing real grit. The Ninja ZX-10RR looked right at home at the front, and this performance proves we have a package capable of fighting with the best. We've seen steady progress round by round, and this weekend it all came together. It's a real boost heading into Cadwell Park.”

This breakthrough weekend is a testament to the hard work and continuous development by the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki crew, who have shown consistent improvement across the past few rounds. With momentum now firmly on their side, the team turns its focus to the iconic Cadwell Park circuit for the next round over the August Bank Holiday weekend — a fan-favourite venue where the riders will be aiming to build on their Thruxton success.
